Oakland Digital (ODALC) is proud to present our 2nd annual Social Media for Small Business symposium! SMfSB is a one day, five-hour event that serves as a neutral educational and learning platform for local small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. SMfSB breaks social media down into easy-to-understand pieces, so attendees can make sense of and utilize digital tools and technology as a platform to grow their business.
A growing number of businesses are making Facebook an indispensible part of hanging out their shingles. Small businesses are using it to find new customers, build online communities of fans and dig into gold mines of demographic information.
1) ODALC Workshop: Digital Image Capture & Digital Work Flow (June 11th, 1pm) – Photographing or scanning your original artwork is the first and most important step in accurately documenting your art – you’ll learn the process!
2) ODALC Workshop: Yelp and Your Small Business (June 25th, 1pm) – Relying on real-world examples, this workshop will examine the DOs and DON’Ts for engaging with customers online.
